Service with a Smile

Soubanh Soukhome, serving HBPW customers for 20 years.

 
 

If you frequent the HBPW’s customer service center, you’ve probably met Soubanh Soukhome. He has been working in customer service at HBPW for 20 years, and his friendly personality and smile have become a staple of our customer service team. Soubanh works face to face with customers, but also helps answer questions and facilitate services over the phone. People don’t often call upon customer service when they’re happy, but leave it to Soubanh to help alleviate the stress with responsive thoughtful answers that will have you leaving with a smile.

Soubanh went to Ferris State University where he studied business. Upon graduation he found the position at HBPW. He enjoys helping people so much that he recently continued his education by taking online courses to become a certified life coach. “I really enjoy the stability at the BPW. I have great, hardworking coworkers and lots of opportunity for growth,” he said. “And of course, the best customers and clients that come through the doors.”

Career Focus: What would be your advice to students who are about to graduate?

“Invest in yourself through continued learning, and you will continue to improve your worth and value.”
