Utility of the Future Today
The program recognizes water resource recovery facilities for transformational work in community engagement, watershed stewardship, and recovery of resources such as water, energy, and nutrients. The Water Reclamation Facility was recognized for Partnering and Engagement.
American Public Power Association (APPA)
The Smart Energy Provider (SEP) designation from APPA is awarded to public power organizations that demonstrate commitment and proficiency in energy efficiency, distributed generation, and environmental initiatives that support a goal of providing low-cost, quality, safe, and reliable electric service.
National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA)
2020 Gold Peak Performance Award
The Peak Performance Awards recognizes NACWA member agency facilities for excellence in permit compliance. The Gold Award was presented to the Water Reclamation Facility for having no permit violations for the entire calendar year.
Combined Cycle Journal (CCJ) - Best Practices Award

CCJ awards Best Practices to facilities that offer the greatest benefit to the industry given today’s demanding goals of improving performance, reliability/availability, and safety, and reducing costs, while satisfying the requirements of ever more challenging regulations promulgated by EPA, NERC, OSHA, regional grids, etc.
Next Century Cities Change Maker Award -Innovation Award
