Annual Light Exchange Expands into Home Energy Expo

For several years, Holland BPW has held an annual Holiday Light Exchange, where residential electric customers exchange inefficient incandescent holiday light strands for efficient LED strands. On October 26, 2023, Holland BPW and the Holland Energy Fund expanded that project into a first-of-its-kind Home Energy Expo. The event was a gateway to navigating the electric transition for homes with a day of education, sustainability and recycling. In addition to recycling incandescent lights, there were other recycling opportunities and an array of electrifying resources.
